Sandy Creek Nature Center has more than six miles of trails, some suitable for only hikers and some for multi-use.

Athens-Clarke Country provides a wide range of programming for folks of every age and inclination, from planetarium programs to family fishing to summer day camps.  The county has an easy-to-use online registration process.
